Resources you collect in Town and in battles let you craft new artifacts and activatable items, upgrade your squad, and develop your Town.

Keep in mind that your storehouse space is limited: most resources have a storage cap, and once you reach it, you won’t be able to obtain more of that resource until you sell or use the excess.

Types of resources:

  • Crafting resources obtained in Town:
    • Wood types (Sawmill)
    • Essence (Sawmill)
    • Leather types (Farm)
    • Metal ingots (Mine)
      • To produce a crafting resource, a master must know its recipe and have the required proficiency: reach a certain level and get enough practice crafting simpler resources. Higher-tier resources also require combining already crafted lower-tier ingredients with rare resources obtained in the Campaign.
  • Other resources obtained in Town:
    • Food (Farm, produced automatically)
    • Gold (Mine, produced automatically)
      • Gold can also be earned by trading with Town masters or by winning battles.
    • Blueprints (required to upgrade improvements in the School; earned by fully upgrading crafting recipes)
    • Battle Tokens (Barracks, generated automatically): used to obtain Campaign crafting resources in Auto Battle. Battle Tokens are not consumed if your squad’s power significantly exceeds the enemy’s (the “Victory guaranteed” forecast on a blue ribbon) or if you have Premium active. If “Victory guaranteed” is shown on a green ribbon, Battle Tokens are consumed.
  • Resources obtained in battle modes:
    • Crafting resources obtained in Campaign grind missions (3 types in each chapter, starting from Chapter 2)
    • Named tokens used to unlock and upgrade characters (obtained in the Tower of Trials)
    • Resources used to craft enhanced artifacts (obtained in the Arena)
    • Phoenix Blood: allows you to revive heroes in the Labyrinth
  • Premium resources:
    • Rubies (used to purchase certain cosmetic items)
  • Event resources
