Arenas are battlefields with a size of 12×8 squares.

The three left rows of the grid are reserved for your squad: you can decide on the formation of your warriors depending on the enemy’s numbers, classes, and placement.

In the Arena mode, where you encounter other players, the three right rows are similarly reserved for your enemy. In Campaign and Tower of Trials it works the same way, although sometimes the AI can take up more space in the PvE modes.

The 6×8 area in the middle of the arena may contain various obstacles like ditches, palisades, boxes, monuments, columns, and other objects. Melee fighters have to go around them to get to the enemy, while archers and mages will have to consider the type of the obstacle: tall objects marked in red will make them try to go around, too, but obstacles with a yellow background can be shot over.
